  I recorded the location of the eyes and mouth at the same time. When starting out, always record as many features as you can. Unless you marked the four corners of the photo onto the sketch, you may have difficulty positioning the photo exactly where it was.
 
     
 
  Once the eyes and mouth were established, it was easy to judge where the nose should be drawn in without using the makeshift ruler.
 
     
 
  In photo #6, you'll notice that even though I recorded it onto my makeshift ruler, I forgot to mark where the bottom of the photo was onto the sketch paper. That explains why I had to determine where the bottom was again later on.
